Amy Rod

Amy Rod joined the firm immediately upon graduating from the University of Houston Law Center in 2000. Amy represented a wide variety of clients in all aspects of civil law until focusing her practice on family law issues in 2005. She became a shareholder in the firm in 2008.

Amy is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is the only practicing attorney in Wharton,
Matagorda, Colorado, and Jackson Counties to earn this distinction.

Born and raised in El Campo, Amy's practice is primarily in Wharton and the surrounding counties, and she handles a wide array of family law matters, including child custody, divorce, child support, modification, marital property agreements, and adoptions. Amy also serves as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Wharton and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Wharton County Junior College.
